Scotchgard™
is an optically clear coating applied to both the base and emulsion
of the film. It protects the film from scratches, dirt, fingerprints,
all solvents, and makes our trailers highly resistant to static
electricity.
Filmack is probably the only producer of theatre trailers to provide
this indespensable and economical product on every film trailer. |

On June 1, 1988,
Filmack Studios began applying 3M's "Photogard" film
protector coating to all its theatre trailers. The protector coating
insured that your Special Theatre Films and Trailers would remain
in "like new" condition.
On March 1, 1993, the name "Scotchgard" replaced the
original Photogard name, but the film protector coating and its
benefits have remained the same. It is still applied through a
unique process that coats both sides of 35mm motion picture film
with an optically clear protective coating. Scotchgard™
coated films thus become highly resistant to scratches, abrasions,
static electricity, fingerprints, and a wide variety of liquids
and solvents. This coating significantly improves the quality
of your trailer presentation and extends the useful life of your
film prints.
Filmack is probably the only producer of theatre trailers to provide
this indispensable and economical product on every film trailer.
Our use of Scotchgard™ confirms Filmack's continuing dedication
to maintain quality trailers for your theatres and viewing audiences. |
